Just as propaganda flowed thick in 2002 and 2003 about the need to invade Iraq, so too is the propaganda and rhetoric flowing about Iran. What you don't find on main stream media is depth of analysis with a historical and balanced perspective in discussions of Iran. Tank Riot spends an hour looking at Iran in an attempt to break through the public relations campaign trying to sell a war with Iran.
Sputnik, Viktor, and Tor discuss various leaders of Iran including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh who in 1953 was overthrown in a CIA backed coup. They look at the Iranian military including the millions of militia that Iran can call up. They also look at how the Iranian Air Force acquired aircraft in odd ways from numerous places including Iraq.
In addition to Iran, the Tank Team responds to listener feedback. The show ends with a prophetic speech by President Eisenhower.
