In 1954 Godzilla, known as Gojira to the Japanese, hit the shores of Japan with a mighty force. Then in 1956 Godzilla, King of the Monsters stormed into the United States. The U.S. version of the movie starred Raymond Burr as crack reporter Steve Martin. Godzilla has become a huge international success with dozens of films that span half a century. One thing is certain, no one knows when Godzilla will return!
