The new movie Sicko is perhaps Michael Moore's best film to date. With a long list of films to his name such as Roger & Me, Pets or Meat: The Return to Flint, Canadian Bacon, The Big One, Bowling for Columbine, and Fahrenheit 9/11, Moore goes into new territory and covers health care. Sicko compares the United States insurance based system against government run health care in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Cuba. The contrast is shocking. The movie shows that health care in the other countries is not only more efficient but infact friendlier and kinder. Listen to the show for the whole review by Tank Riot.
Tor also reviews the first of the new Sundance cinema chain. Sundance Cinemas are Robert Redford's next endeavor in the movie industry. Sundance raises the bar in an effort to bring a higher quality experience to the movie going public. Listen to the show to find out what Tor's barber has to do with all this.
