Show Notes
V for Vendetta! This is the discussion of V for Vendetta that you want to hear. Alan Moore's graphic novel with David Lloyd as illustrator has been brought to the big screen. The Wachowski brothers produced the film which stars Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. It is a great dystopian story for modern America. Always remember the fifth of November.
This show is more than a review of the film. Tank Riot covers the history of Guy Fawkes and the social forces that motivated him. Tank Riot also looks at the roots and inspiration for the graphic novel. Sputnik and Viktor, who have read the "V for Vendetta" graphic novel and other Alan Moore works, review the film from the point of view of a fan. Tor on the other hand, who knew nothing of the film's background, gives his view of the film. In short, they all liked it. Listen to the show to find out why. If you havn't seen the movie, listen to the show to find out why you should. If you have seen the movie, listen to the show to learn a bunch of trivia as well as why you should also read the graphic novel.
